INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Attorney General’s Office is concerned about cyberattacks targeting health care providers.
This comes after hackers obtained some data in an attempted cyberattack on Eskenazi Hospital.
The section chief for the Attorney General’s Office Data Privacy and Identity Theft Unit says hospitals are easier targets and have valuable information that criminals are seeking.
The Indiana AG’s Office says they are working with some health care providers to protect that sensitive information.
