ROCHESTER, Ind. (ADAMS) – The woman who hit and killed three kids at a northern Indiana school bus stop in 2019 won’t be getting out of prison early.
A judge yesterday denied Alyssa Shepherd’s request for an early release. She’s serving four years in prison for killing nine-year-old Alivia Stahl and twin six-year-old brothers Mason and Xzavier Ingle. She hit them as she passed their stopped school bus.
Shepherd was eligible for early release in March of next year, but the judge says she will stay in prison until at least September.
