MISHAWAKA, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana State Police say that a months-long investigation has ended with a Mishawaka woman facing drug charges.
After a search of the 49-year-old woman’s residence, police seized a gun, meth, pills, and other drug-related items.
Police say that Linda McAfee was arrested Friday and released the following:
Friday morning a months-long investigation that began from a citizen tip of suspected drug dealing concluded after the Indiana State Police Bremen Post All Crimes Policing Team served a search warrant at a Mishawaka, IN address.
At 8:00 a.m. on January 20, 2023, a search warrant was served at an address in the 600 block of West Mishawaka Avenue in Mishawaka, IN. This investigation began months ago when a concerned citizen submitted a tip of suspected drug dealing at a business in Mishawaka. The investigation ultimately led troopers to the residence on West Mishawaka Avenue. This warrant resulted in troopers discovering approximately 11.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a handgun, marijuana edibles, numerous pills, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Linda McAfee, 49, was arrested at the residence for Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Legend Drug, Possession of a Narcotic, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. McAfee was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail.
