BLACKFORD CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – IU Health is closing the emergency room at IU Health Blackford in Hartford City.
That means Blackford County residents will need to seek emergency care in Muncie, Portland, or elsewhere moving forward.
IU Health says the closure is due to a decline in patients seeking medical care there. The clinic will continue to provide primary healthcare and outpatient services.
