(ADAMS) – A food wholesaler is issuing a notice on previously-recalled baby formula being mistakenly distributed to some retailers.
Associated Wholesale Grocers says 12.4-ounce cans of powdered Gerber Good Start SoothePro formula that was recalled in March has been shipped to a number of independent supermarkets in Ohio and seven other states.
This includes independent retailers in Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
The initial recall was made over possible bacteria contamination. The cans have “Use By” dates ranging from July 4th to July 12th of next year.
