SEATTLE (ADAMS) – Amazon says “many” of its services are restored after an outage disrupted many platforms on Tuesday. Trading app Robinhood and cryptocurrency exchange site Coinbase were among sites reporting issues.
Those trying to sell on Amazon were having trouble accessing Seller Center, which is used to manage orders. The company said network devices in Northern Virginia were behind the outage.
It also caused disruptions for corporate customers like Netflix, Disney Plus, and Roku who rely on the company’s cloud services. Many individual users also experienced problems with the functionality of Alexa units and Ring Doorbells.
Amazon didn’t say when it was expected all of its services would be restored.
