FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The City of Fort Wayne’s Public Works Division will activate a new traffic signal next week at the intersection of Covington Road and Covington Commons Drive in southwest Fort Wayne. This is close to Summit Grill and Mocha Lounge.

To help drivers become familiar with the new signal, it will enter flashing mode on Monday. This temporary phase is intended to alert motorists to its presence and the upcoming transition to full operation. The signal will begin full operation on Wednesday following the conclusion of the morning commute.
Drivers are encouraged to follow the signal’s instructions, use caution when traveling through the area, and allow extra time as traffic patterns adjust.
