FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The City of Fort Wayne says that new road work could impact your commute.
Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation says that two sections of Franke Park Drive located within Franke Park will receive asphalt pavement improvements. Work is expected to begin first thing in the morning on Monday, June 15.
While construction is in progress, visitors to Franke Park and the Fort Wayne Zoo may experience temporary changes to parking and traffic flow and are asked to drive with caution and allow extra time when entering and exiting the parking lots.
The goal is to reopen the sections for normal traffic flow as soon as possible following the resurfacing improvements.
Access to the west side of Franke Park from the new entrance off of Goshen Road will be open as normal.
