FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – An Air Quality Alert is in place for northeast Indiana today.
The National Weather Service says that the alert will run until midnight, as ozone levels could be unhealthy due to hot temperatures and smoke from wildfires drifting into the region. Children, the elderly, and people with heart or breathing problems are more likely to be impacted by the lower air quality.
