FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The City says that Fort Wayne’s investment in neighborhood infrastructure got another boost on Tuesday from City Council.
Two more projects led by the City of Fort Wayne’s Public Works Division received Committee Session approval from City Council. Final approval will occur at a future meeting.
*Improvement of residential asphalt streets through asphalt crack sealing – A unit price of $66,950 with a not-to-exceed amount of $225,000 with completion anticipated for this construction season. Work will take place in all six City Council districts.
*Alley improvements in the areas of Kinsmoor Avenue, Nuttman Avenue, Beaver Avenue, and Broadway – $190,890 with completion expected this construction season.
Under Mayor Sharon Tucker’s leadership, the City is investing $37 million in neighborhood infrastructure enhancements this year.
